You Need a Therapist Who Gets It.

Most of my clients are high-achieving adults who have spent years being the most capable person in the room. They've built careers, maintained relationships, and kept most people around them from noticing the weight they carry internally.

What brings them to therapy isn't a breakdown. It's exhaustion. The exhaustion of managing anxiety that never fully quiets, ADHD that takes twice the effort to compensate for, OCD that no one else knows about, or a relationship that has reached a point where something has to change.

If that sounds like you — you're in the right place.

My approach is direct, practical, and deeply relational. I'll work hard with you, tell you the truth, and never talk down to you. Therapy here isn't about starting over. It's about finally understanding yourself clearly enough to move forward.

My Clinical Specialties

I've spent 14 years developing deep expertise in a specific set of areas. These aren't general interests — they're the conditions and situations I work with every day and where I've seen the most meaningful, lasting change.

  • ADHD in high-achieving adults

    • ADHD is consistently underdiagnosed and misunderstood in high-functioning adults — especially women. I work with clients who have been compensating for years, often without knowing why everything feels harder than it should.

  • Anxiety and Perfectionism

    • Anxiety in high performers looks different than the textbook version. I specialize in the perfectionism, overthinking, people-pleasing, and burnout that keeps driven adults stuck — and exhausted.

  • OCD and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP)

    • ERP is the gold-standard, evidence-based treatment for OCD and one of my core clinical specialties. I treat all OCD subtypes — including Pure O, ROCD, harm OCD, emetophobia, food allergy and contamination OCD, health anxiety OCD, and perfectionism OCD. I completed intensive ERP training and bring both clinical rigor and genuine understanding to this work.

  • Couples Therapy

    • I work with high-functioning couples navigating conflict, disconnection, communication breakdown, and infidelity. My approach draws from Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and is grounded in the belief that both people deserve honesty — not just comfort.

  • Discernment Counseling

    • I am trained in discernment counseling — a specialized, brief process for couples where one person is leaning out and the other isn't sure. This is not couples therapy. It's a structured process focused on one question: what do we do next?

  • Betrayal Recovery, Infidelity, and High-Conflict couples

    • Betrayal trauma is one of the most destabilizing experiences a person can go through in a relationship. I specialize in working with both individuals processing infidelity and couples deciding whether and how to rebuild — with honesty, structure, and deep respect for the complexity of what you're navigating.

A Note on Who I Work With

I am selective about who I take on as a client — not because I think some people are more deserving of support than others, but because I do my best work with a specific kind of person.

My clients are typically adults who are high-level thinkers, intelligent, and driven in their own right. They've usually tried to figure things out on their own for longer than they should have. They may also have tried other therapists who did not feel like a good fit for them. They're not looking for someone to tell them what to do — they're looking for a partner who will be honest with them, challenge them when needed, and collaborate with them to meet their goals.

If that's you — I'd love to connect.

Frequently Asked Questions: Brittany

What is your therapeutic approach?

1

My approach is eclectic, individualized, and relational — I don't apply a single framework to every client. I draw from ERP, Gottman Method, EFT, Relational Life Therapy, ACT, CBT, DBT, and attachment-focused therapy, depending on what you're working on and what actually fits your life. The goal is always therapy that works, not therapy that checks a box.

Do you work with individuals and couples?

2

Yes. I work with individual adults and teens navigating ADHD, anxiety, OCD, and life transitions, as well as couples dealing with conflict, disconnection, infidelity, and discernment about the future of their relationship
